Paint Schedule
Sunday Sept 29
PM (optional en route paint): Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, Visitor Center, 1700 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076 (101 South to San Miquel Rd. Left on Castroville Road, Right at Y onto Dolan Road, Right on Elkhorn Road. From Moss Landing, Hwy 1 to Dolan Road, left on Elkhorn Road.). Walk west on the asphalt path to the slough overlook, deck and benches provide a good paint site.

Monday Sept 30
Moss Landing State Beach. (from Hwy 1 take Jetty Road and cross bridge to state park). Bring a lunch to stay on location all day.
​
AM: Moss Landing State Beach, park near first set of porta-potties, good view of marina boats and sand bar with seals, or hike over the dune to paint the ocean.
​
PM: Moss Landing State Beach, park near second set of porta-potties, good view of marina boats and sand bar with seals, or hike over the dune to paint the ocean.
​
​
Tuesday October 1
Lunch at Whole Enchilada – 12:30-1pm (depending on weather and light).
​
AM: Moss Landing Road just west of Whole Enchilada Restaurant, view north to Marina or View south to Slough.
​
PM: Salinas River State Beach, Sandholdt Lot, Hwy 1, west on Moss Landing Road, right on Sandhold Road, cross bridge and turn level into park, drive to end and park.
​

Wednesday October 2
AM: (optional departure paint): Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, Visitor Center, 1700 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville. As Sunday, but this time with morning light.
